Like other manufacturers, Chevrolet offered slightly modified version of the 1942 model for 1946. Different trim, grilles and emblems pretty well sums up the model year changes. Stylemaster and Fleetmaster names were introduced. Eight basic body styles were available: Business Coupe, Sport Coupe, Sport Sedan, Town Sedan, Convertible Coupe, 2 Fastback models and a 4-door wagon.
